This was the final project during my stint at Full Sail University for my second BS degree. It has served as my portfolio site at SamDiaz.com for the past few years. I especially enjoyed making this site because not only did I create the whole Flash site in ActionScript 2, but I also used Autodesk 3ds Max to model, texture, and light everything you see. It took me a lot of time to get it all done perfectly, but it was one of my most enjoyable moments in school.

For Monster Media 3D I was tasked to create a website which was pleasant on the eyes and easy for a non-techie person to update. I used this as an opportunity to learn how to use WordPress as a CMS, and dove right in. Once the owner chose a template he liked, I was able to set the page up making it completely customizable for him. Some of the features he wanted weren’t included in the template, so I had to tweak it to fit.

Working for Monster Media I was tasked to build a fully dynamic website. I did so by creating a complete custom-made back-end from scratch using PHP/MySQL. This allowed them not only to update the text and images on the site, but change the structure (tabs, categories, etc) of it completely via an easy-to-use admin section.
